Sambo World Championship in Minsk

Belarusian sportsmen won 17 medals (2 Gold, 5 Silver, 10 Bronze medals) at Sambo World Championship finished on 11 November in Minsk.
Summarizing the results of the whole tournament two Sambo wrestlers became world champions within Belarus national team. At the starting day of the world forum Stanislav Kolbasov (up to 100 kg weight category) won a gold medal in the combat Sambo. On 11 November Yury Rybak (up to 100 kg) reached the same result in sport Sambo.
Belarusian sportsmen had silver medals in 3 male weight categories and 2 female weight categories. The second place took Andrey Kurlypo (up to 52 kg), Dmitry Bazylev (up to 68 kg), Olga Leshchenko (up to 48 kg) and Olga Namazova (up to 68 kg) in the sport Sambo, and Edyard Muravitsky (up to 74 kg) in combat Sambo.
Bronze medals at home championship won Andrey Kazusenok (up to 90 kg), Eugeniy Semochkin (up to100 kg), Marina Zharskaya (up to 52 kg), Angela Paim-Kraskovskay (up to 64 kg), Ekaterina Prokopenko (up to 60 kg), Maria Kuznetsova (up to 72 kg), Julia Borisik (over 80 kg) in sport Sambo and Andrey Demenchuk (up to 68 kg), Alexander Voronovich (up to 90 kg) and Eugeniy Tyatyushkin (over 100 kg) in combat Sambo.
In the World Championship medal table the leaders were Sambo wrestlers of Russia national team. They had 17 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals. Belarus as at the World championship of last year in Vilnius took the second place (2, 5, 10). The following countries are Kazakhstan (1, 3, 7), Ukraine (1, 3, 6), Bulgaria (1, 3, 4) and Georgia (1, 1, 4).

On the first day of summer, on the International Children’s Day the TRIPLE Group of Companies and Football Club “Dinamo-Minsk” held a traditional charity event. The pupils of the state educational institution “Minsk boarding school No.7” went on a football field of the training base “Staiki” together with the football players of “Dinamo”.
