Vladimir Yaprintsev was elected as the Chairman of the Belarusian Judo Federation
Vladimir Yaprintsev, Deputy Director General of LLC "TRIPLE" was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Federation by delegates at the extraordinary conference of the BJF.
In the extraordinary conference of the Belarusian Judo Federation were participating the Secretary General of the NOC of the Republic of Belarus, Georgy Katulin and Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports, Sergei Nered.
The question about the election of the new Chairman was the only one in the agenda of the conference. Resignation petition of the previous Head of the Judo Federation, Minister of energy of Belarus, Alexander Ozerec, was granted. Conference delegates recommended his entering as a member of the Board of guardians of the Belarusian Judo Federation.
After his election as the Chairman of the Belarusian Judo Federation, Vladimir Yaprintsev addressed to delegates of the extraordinary conference with the initiative to consider all important issues about the work of the Federation and the sport's problems approximately in 2 months at the next conference.
Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR in Sambo, Honoured Coach of the Republic of Belarus, three-time Sambo World Champion, three-time Sambo European Champion, World Cup winner, Doctor of Philosophy, Vladimir Yaprintsev has headed the Judo Federation until 2003 for almost 5 years. Now Vladimir Yaprintsev is also the Chairman of the Belarusian Sambo Federation and will combine this position with the post of the Head of the BFJ.
